Identity RediscoveredSample

"I belong to God." Repeat slowly several times.
Ask the Holy Spirit to speak this truth to your heart.
Think about all the places you travel in a day. What are the hardest spaces to honor God with your body?
What does Paul mean exactly when he says that we are not our own?
How does this impact all the parts of myself: mind, tongue, heart, feet, hands, etc…
We live in an incredibly individualistic culture that tells us that we do not need to answer to anyone. I am the authority in my life. God through the scripture says the exact opposite. How could this bring freedom to us?
Read 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 slowly and out loud again.
Sit quietly after you read.

About this Plan

We live in a time where we can be defined by any words we choose. Sometimes these are words that bring us life, but often times they are words that reflect pain, diagnoses, or stereotypes. God in His word, speaks truth over us, telling us who we are in His eyes. Once I'm settled into His family by faith, He offers me an Identity. Let's journey together.
