Identity RediscoveredSample

This has been our longest reading, but well worth the effort. We will be in Romans 8 the next couple days and it has so much good to say!
"I am assured that all things work together for good." Repeat it to yourself like you mean it :)
Ask the Holy Spirit to speak this truth to your heart.
When it says that in all things God works for the good, what do you think the ‘all things’ refers to?
Who is the author talking about in this passage?
Paul is not meaning this as a trite phrase that you might read on a greeting card. He had been in prison, he had been beaten, he had been shipwrecked and without food. And yet he saw it all as working for good in his life.
How have you seen this in action in your own life?
Read Romans 8:28 slowly and out loud again.
Sit quietly after you read.

About this Plan

We live in a time where we can be defined by any words we choose. Sometimes these are words that bring us life, but often times they are words that reflect pain, diagnoses, or stereotypes. God in His word, speaks truth over us, telling us who we are in His eyes. Once I'm settled into His family by faith, He offers me an Identity. Let's journey together.
