King & KingdomsSample

Have you ever broken a promise to someone? You're human, so the answer is probably yes. With just a few words left on his tongue, David wanted to be sure his listeners understood God doesn't break promises. God has been and forever will be faithful to keep the covenant that He made with His people. David's whole life was a testament to that! From his anointing to his death bed, David watched the Lord guide, protect, and sustain him. David trusted and believed that God would continue to be faithful to His people, one day taking all of history to a Messiah through David's own family.
Think it Over: How have you seen God's faithfulness in your life? Spend time now thanking God for His faithful covenant with His people.
