Day by Day With GodSample

HOW MUCH LOVE
I have a kitty who won't let me hold her. When I play with her, she scratches and bites me (or tries to), she likes to jump, she always fills the carpet in the house with everything she finds, be it rubbish or anything else, she likes to go to the kitchen trashcan and take out everything she has.
Oh yes, my kitty enjoys making a mess! But when she is hungry or thirsty, she comes to me very calmly and lovingly looking for me to satisfy her need.
I want to ask you: Are you like this with God? Do you go to Him when you have a need? How many times have you hurt Him with your attitudes? More than once, we have all been like this with Him. Like me, even with all my kitty's messes, I wouldn't let her suffer; and that's just the way God is. When we go to Him for help, He is there; when we tear at His heart, He is there; when we fill the carpet of our soul with things that don't edify us, He is there; He is there to help you; He is always there to clean up the mess in your soul.
For me, that´s reason enough to say how much I love Him. Just as I am the support of my earthquake with hair (my kitty), God is our strength. But don't just go to God when you need something; take advantage of the fact that His arms are always open to you, go to Him even when you don't need anything, and give Him your whole self.
