God's Redemption Story (The Prophets)Sample

Hosea – Day 2
When God brought the people of Israel out of Egypt, they took a 40-year tour of the wilderness before settling into the Promised Land. Part of that was punishment for the people who thought God wasn’t big enough to help them defeat their enemies. But the wilderness was also a place where they met God, where they saw His miracles, and where they learned to live with and depend on Him..
Does your life ever feel like a wilderness? You have no control over your environment. You feel like you’re being hunted. You don’t know how you’ll cover your basic needs. And you can’t find your way out of it. Sometimes God takes us to the wilderness—away from action and noise and things cluttering our lives—to make it easier to see Him.. If you’re in the wilderness today, look for God. He’s waiting for you.
