Milestones - Salvation, Baptism, CommunionSample

Like a uniform for school or a sporting team, it’s a sign to others who you belong to or follow. When we choose to follow Jesus, we become a Christian, and we have clothes to put on! What do we wear as Christians? It doesn’t mean we all grow beards and dress like Jesus. The Bible talks about clothing ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Just like a uniform, baptism is a declaration that we are a follower of Jesus and then, each day, choose to be clothed with Him and live our lives with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Baptism is a milestone in a Christian’s journey when they are immersed in water, following Jesus’ example. They declare in front of their friends and family that they are leaving their old life behind and following Jesus.
About this Plan
