Perspective Shift: Student EditionSample

Paul understood that his life wasn’t for him, but to glorify God and advance the kingdom of God. We see that in verse 12 where Paul says, “...that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.” Life will not always be filled with mountaintop moments, but regardless, every moment of our lives is used by God to advance His kingdom. When we have that perspective, we can truly have joy in every moment!
- Recite this week's memory verse: "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21, KJV).
- What's something in your life that God has used to advance His kingdom?
- How can you learn to trust God more in the hard moments of life?
