And It Was GoodSample

Whenever an atrocious, visible injustice happens, it seems like everyone lines up to take one step toward justice. Then, as time passes, people return to their everyday lives and routines. The passion for resisting injustice fades until it rears its ugly head again—a horrible cycle that we can never seem to break.
But declarations like Zephaniah’s can encourage us. When those around us stop moving toward justice, God does not. God is still present. God is still moving toward what is right, good, and equal. On days when it feels like no progress has been made or that many have stopped taking steps, be encouraged that God is daily bringing justice to those who have been wronged.
Today, pray that God will give you the motivation to continue to stand up for those who have been mistreated.
