Jesus Teaches on Prayer
Listen to "Jesus Teaches on Prayer":
Reflect
Children’s prayers are precious. Children aren’t self-conscious and are unafraid to ask for the moon. We can learn about persistence from them. If there is something they want, they ask for it tirelessly. Anything that reminds them of their desired object reignites their passion. We get discouraged when God doesn’t answer our prayers, but God sees the big picture. He knows what is best in the long run so He sometimes makes us wait. As we long for His will, we grow in Christlikeness.
● Are you discouraged about an unanswered prayer? Set a goal to ask, seek, and knock until God responds.
● Jesus compares the heavenly Father to an earthly one. How does this view of God affect your prayer life?

About this Plan

Experience a different way of interacting with God’s Word. Deepen your intimacy with God by listening to an oral Bible story each day. Then allow His Word to transform you by reflecting on a short devotional. Grab a journal to record what you notice in the story and what God is saying to you through His Word.
