The Spirit World
Listen to "The Spirit World":
Reflect
Some cultures believe there are spirits in everything — rocks, trees, streams and so on. They live their entire lives either trying to placate the spirits to protect themselves or align with them to gain power over their circumstances. There are others (including many modern Western cultures) who disbelieve in spirits entirely. They claim there is a scientific explanation for everything.
Christians, on the other hand, operate in a third kind of culture. We believe in spirits but at the same time, acknowledge their place in the order of creation. God sent His Spirit to live in us and help us. He is greater than those spirits that live in our world (1 John 4:4).
● How does the knowledge that God has declared judgment on the fallen angels affect how you view the world?
● How does believing that your greatest enemy is already defeated impact how you live?

About this Plan

Experience a different way of interacting with God’s Word. Deepen your intimacy with God by listening to an oral Bible story each day. Then allow His Word to transform you by reflecting on a short devotional. Grab a journal to record what you notice in the story and what God is saying to you through His Word.
