Jesus Tells the Story of the Wheat and Weeds
Listen to "Jesus Tells the Story of the Wheat and Weeds":
Reflect
What is the difference between wheat and weeds? One is useful, and the other isn’t. Christ tells us that those who hear God’s Word and do what it says will thrive. The Lord will separate the wheat from the weeds in His time—that’s not our job. As we live in close connection with the Lord, we will flourish, standing out among those who disobey Him.
Think of how a plant is nourished by sending out its roots into the soil. The more the plant does this, the stronger it stands against storms. Consider the ways you can stay in close connection to the Lord, nourished and strengthened by His Word.
● Where are you tempted to disobey God and choose not to do what He says?
● What about thriving in God's Kingdom excites you?
