We Are Chosen To Be His Children
In addition to justification, God gives us another amazing privilege when we become Christian; the privilege of adoption. God could have forgiven our sins and just given us justification to stand before Him without making us his children. But God loves us so much, that He wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. God gave us a Spirit of adoption as sons and duaghters and the power of Holy Spirit working in us to change our slavish fears towards God as we are princes or princesses of Heaven and Almighty God. All authorities God has given to you. Let the Spirit of God help us live a life reflecting that we are the children of the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
Prayer: Prayer: Abba Father, King of kings and Lord of lords, I love you. Thank you for choosing me to be your child, and allowing me come to you directly through Jesus Christ. Father, help me grow my relationship with you each day and grow my relationship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us to live a life that reflects we are the children of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
