When you feel numb, at times, it feels like your prayer is not going anywhere. You start to wonder if God is even listening. In those moments, the urge to stop praying can be extremely tempting. There is the voice of the enemy telling you that your prayer is useless, and for a moment, you might even agree with him.

However, according to the Word of God, this is not true. The Bible encourages us to “pray all manner of prayers” because our persistence will surely bring an outcome. It may be a while before you “feel” the prayer, but the important thing is to keep going. Silence the voice of doubt and push through. The Lord will surely answer.
