TODAY’S THOUGHT We live in a world and a culture that is constantly pushing its agenda and so many times it is pretty much the opposite of the life that God is calling us to live as Christ-followers. Be encouraged today that God is in the process of changing you into a new person by changing the way you think. He does this through the power of his word in your life. Spend time reading his word today, meditate on it and speak it out loud to someone even if that person is you! When we begin to believe and speak the word it begins to transform us. The lives we live will begin to challenge the norm! Other people will begin to take notice. You will no longer just blend in, but you will begin to be the salt and light that God has called you to be for those around you! TODAY’S PRAYER Father today I thank you for the gift of salvation and eternal life through your son, Jesus. Thank you that you are transforming me into a new person through your word. Help me be a person who challenges the norm in my world and use me to help reclaim our culture for Christ! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
