If God hears us when we pray, then we can trust that God answers our prayers. It may not always be what we expected, but He does answer our prayers. God wants us to come to Him because He created us to have a relationship with Him. When you create something, you take special care of it because it matters to you. This is most true when it comes to our loving Father in Heaven. God made you to be in relationship with Him and one way we have a relationship with Him is through prayer. However, it starts with us going to God in prayer first. We have to be willing to talk to God, but it does not have to be awkward, because God hears us. You are not talking to no one, you are talking to the very one who created you.
