THE WATER OF HIS WORD
Read Matthew 26:41 and Hebrews 12:12-13. Think about the reasons you struggle spending time alone with God. Pray: Lord, I need your help to want to spend the time with you that I need to spend with you. Help, Lord!
WALK ON TRUTH
What if you could spend time alone with God Most High, the maker and the creator of the universe, your maker and your creator? What if you could sit with Him and have communion with Him during your one-on-one time every day? How much would we be changed if we were to take this to heart and act upon it? O Lord, we are so weak and see so dimly. You are right there but we walk right on by. Every morning we can have time with Jesus and learn from Him. Help us have eyes to see! Help us to have ears to hear! Lord, help us. How hard is it for you to remember this gift you have been given? Confess your forgetfulness and your dim-wittedness! Ask Him to help you make the most of what He has given. Ask Him to help you spend your one-on-one time with Him. You will never be the same. Nor will your world ever be the same again.
FOCUS THE EYES OF YOUR HEART
Quietly recite today;s focus verses to yourself. Hide them in your heart, meditate on them, and make them your prayer throughout the day.
Deuteronomy 6:4-6: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart."
