WEEK 4: GOING UP THE MOUNTAIN
THE WATER OF HIS WORD
Read Matthew 6:7-13.
Pray the Lord's prayer and as you do, think about what you have been learning the past few weeks. What has the Lord revealed to you in His word? What is He showing you?
WALK ON TRUTH
Where is your Father? Do you live as though He is your Father? Your beloved? Your ALL in ALL, whose name is to be exalted and honored above all? How often do people want to make a name for themselves? Whose kingdom are we to be a part of? Whose will are we to accomplish during the day, ours or God's? What do you need to adjust in order to pray this prayer honestly? Read or say the Lord's prayer aloud.
FOCUS THE EYES OF YOUR HEART
Quietly recite today's focus verses to yourself. Hide them in your heart, meditate on them, and make them your prayer throughout the day.
Deuteronomy 6:4-6: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart."
