None Like HimSample

Week 6 | God Is Immutable
1. How is the knowledge that God does not change reassuring to you? How might it be a caution to you as well?
2. What human relationship, possession, or circumstance do you cling to for stability instead of to our unchanging God? How reliable have you found that substitute to be?
3. How prone are you to use always or never language in an argument? What might this tendency reveal about the state of your belief?
4. What always or never have you wrongly believed to be true of yourself? Of someone else? Of a circumstance or relationship?
Pray:
Write a prayer to the Lord confessing one thing about yourself you have believed to be unchangeable. Ask Him for awareness of where you have grown hardened and for grace to learn to change. Thank Him for the great gift of human changeability.

About this Plan

Find spiritual rest in the greatness and glory of God as you spend time with the Lord each day! None Like Him is a 10-week reading plan to help you find rest in Christ by letting go and letting God be God. Daily readings include a relevant passage from the Bible, focused on a specific attribute of God each week. The last day of each week includes questions that will cause you to deeply consider areas where you have tried to "play God" in your own life.
