None Like HimSample

Week 10 | God Is Sovereign
1. Of the types of control (body, possession, relationships, circumstances), which do you want the most? Which is not a problem for you?
2. Over whom has God placed you in authority? To whom has God commanded you to submit? How should submitting to authority make you better at exercising it, and how should exercising authority make you better at submitting to it?
3. In what area do you feel the most out of control? What is your worst-case scenario? Confess it to God and ask Him to grant you freedom from anxiety.
4. How does the fact of God's sovereignty comfort you personally? How does it shape your understanding of the miracle of salvation?
Pray:
Write a prayer to the Lord confessing how you have reached for control. Ask Him to help you trust and submit to His authority in thought, word, and deed. Thank Him that He is making all things new. Praise Him for the humbling truth of His sovereignty.

None Like Him is a 10-week reading plan to help you find rest in Christ by letting go and letting God be God. Daily readings include a relevant passage from the Bible, focused on a specific attribute of God each week. The last day of each week includes questions that will cause you to deeply consider areas where you have tried to "play God" in your own life.
