None Like HimSample

Week 4 | God Is Self-Sufficient
1. Why is it important for us to recognize that only God is self-sufficient?
2. What have you been tempted to believe that God needs from you? In what areas are you most prone to believe that you don't need Him?
3. What human need do you resent the most? How is that boundary for your good? For God's glory?
4. What marks of self-sufficiency have you seen in your own life? List them.
Pray:
Write a prayer to the Lord asking Him to show you how your own needs can teach you reliance on Him. Praise Him that He needs nothing, yet supplies every need. Thank Him for meeting your greatest need through the work of Christ. Ask Him to teach you to recognize the blessing of human need as a reminder of His ongoing faithfulness to sustain His children.

About this Plan

Find spiritual rest in the greatness and glory of God as you spend time with the Lord each day! None Like Him is a 10-week reading plan to help you find rest in Christ by letting go and letting God be God. Daily readings include a relevant passage from the Bible, focused on a specific attribute of God each week. The last day of each week includes questions that will cause you to deeply consider areas where you have tried to "play God" in your own life.
