Easter: Heaven Knows

DAY 2 OF 7

Heaven Knows the Center

Do you ever stop to think about the driving force behind your life decisions? Is the force your desire to provide for your family, or the pursuit of personal gain and success? When faced with tough choices, what keeps you grounded?

Life is a complex journey that we all experience, with its ups and downs, twists and turns, and highs and lows. Regardless of our vocation, socio-economic status, education, or location, heaven knows that we need one constant at the center of it all: Christ. When we put other things at the center of our lives (like our jobs, possessions, relationships, or material things), life becomes frazzled, and everything seems to be out of place. We have forgotten that what we need is a deeper connection with God.

It is incredible to consider the amount of data collected by social media platforms and search engines, tracking our every move, search, and purchase. Despite this, algorithms cannot replace God. He knows us intimately. He understands us on a level that no data mining could ever replicate. The Lord knows every detail of our lives, every triumph, every challenge, every joy, and every sorrow. He knows the number of hairs on our head, every tear we’ve cried, and every thought in our hearts before we speak. He knows the desires of our hearts, and He loves us deeply and unconditionally.

In a world where we can feel lost and alone, it is comforting to know that we are known and cherished by the Creator of the universe. God sees, hears, and is always with us, even in the darkest moments of our lives. When we allow Christ to be the center of our lives, we find love, comfort, peace, hope, and meaning, even in the midst of chaos.

What is at the center of your life? Is it your career, possessions, or relationships? Or is it Christ?

It can be easy to get caught up in the daily grind of life and forget what truly matters. However, when we allow Christ to be the center of our lives, everything else falls into place. We find meaning, purpose, and fulfillment that cannot be found in temporary things. Let us keep our focus on Christ, who is the only constant in an ever-changing world. Let us not be distracted but instead seek His kingdom and righteousness first, trusting that everything else will fall into place.
