For the first few days of this chapter we have focused on the possibility that Mark's gospel ends in verse 8, but today let’s begin exploring verses 9-20. These verses have details from the other gospels like Mary encountering Jesus (John 20), Jesus on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24), and the Great Commission (Matthew 28). Because these are corroborated in other accounts, even if they were additions from other scribes we can be confident that they are reliable details.
