Start the Party - High SchoolSample

A good thing at the wrong time can actually end up being a bad thing. Have you ever heard of the term Emotional Intelligence? It refers to someone’s ability to know the vibe of a situation—how to read a room and then say and do what is best based on what’s going on. When Paul writes about rejoicing and mourning with other people in this verse, he is talking about doing the right things at the right time. He is talking about emotional intelligence. Who are some people in your life whom you can come alongside and celebrate with or mourn with? Who might need you to be there for them and not fix anything but just be a friend? Today, pray that God would help you know how to share in what others are going through so you can show them love and serve them well
