Fluent: Part 19Sample

Have you noticed how often John uses the word love in his letters? The word love is one of the sloppiest words in our language, as it primarily refers to a feeling that happens to a person. But in the New Testament, love refers to a way of treating people that Jesus himself defined. It means to seek the well-being of others regardless of their response.
About this Plan

To be fluent, one must be immersed in whatever is being learned. This plan is designed to help move your understanding of the Bible from creedal affirmation to a place of true fluency in the Scriptures so that you can be equipped to live out the transforming Kingdom truths laid out in God’s Word. This is part 19 of a 19-part plan that goes through the whole Bible. Thanks to Bible Project for the use of their video content.
