Allowing new people into our lives, friend groups, or communities can be challenging. It’s easy for all of us to want to stay close to those we already know, trust, and understand. But as party starters, it’s our job to go beyond our current circles. God calls us to welcome in all people—to be open and intentional about including others in our lives. That’s what Jesus did for us and what we can do for someone else. You never know how your invitation could change someone’s life for the better!

This week, talk to your close friends or inner circle about this passage. Brainstorm ways you can invite and welcome new people into your group. Then, make an effort to try it this week!
