Has someone ever asked to borrow something of yours, but you weren’t sure if they would give it back? How easy was it for you to give that thing to them? I think it would be hard for anyone (including me!) to share something, not knowing what would happen to it if I did.

Here’s what I know is true: When we choose to give our time, energy, talents, money, or resources, God will use them in ways we couldn’t have imagined. We just have to be willing to give them away and believe God will use them in big ways as a result.

So today, spend a couple of minutes praying to God. Say something like, “God, show me ways to serve others today. Open my eyes to see others’ needs and use what I have to meet them.” As you go through your day today, look for ways to serve the people you are around, believing that God can use what you give when you do.
