Today we bring the theme of worship to an end. It's been an eye opener for many of us and a new beginning for others.

One last practical help I'd like to offer is the adoption of a personal consecration hymn.

This is a hymn you not only like but it most reflects your 'self' on the altar. You will find yourself singing it at times when you are returning to God after a heart detour. You'll sing it during times of praise and gratitude. This hymn is your song. It takes you back to the moments you have had at the foot of the cross. Where the burden of your heart rolled away. And it was there by faith you received your sight and now you're happy all the day.

This is not the I love you song, this is the I am yours song, I am thine Oh Lord

Here is a sample. Read through every line very slowly. As you use your imagination find yourself at the foot of the cross or His throne. And sing these words to him.

Take my life, and let it be Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;

Take my moments and my days,

Let them flow in ceaseless praise,

Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands, and let them move

At the impulse of Thy love;

Take my feet and let them be

Swift and beautiful for Thee,

Here is my personal consecration song

COME CLEAN

Today you are the sacrifice. It's is you and me on the altar. (Rom 12:1-2)

But... We are not a sing offering. We are not a harvest offering. We are not a first fruit offering. We ARE a praise offering.

Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Come before his presence with thanks giving. Know that the Lord is God. It is He who has made us. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and into his court with praise.

Be thankful unto him and bless His Holy Name.
