Plot TwistSample

You've been chosen to be a contestant on a game show. You need to press the buzzer before your challenger and get the next question right in order to win one million dollars to use however you want. The question comes across the screen, and you know it — it's so easy! But you didn't get to the buzzer in time. When it goes to the next contestant, she says, "I'd like to give the other contestant a chance to answer it first."
Jesus didn't give up a million dollars for us to have a second chance, but he did give up his life so that we could have life to the fullest here on earth. You've been given this gift and opportunity of a second chance. Sure, we'll miss the mark from time to time. But Jesus is ready to offer his grace as a second chance when we need it most.
How are you going to use that second chance today to live more like Jesus? How can you show someone that they've been given a second chance?

About this Plan

Whether it’s your favorite movie, book, or reality show, you know there's nothing like a good plot twist! A plot twist can make us rethink everything we thought we knew about the story. In this 30-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, designed for Lent we’ll focus on how Jesus experienced “life-plot twists” and how he is with us when we go through unexpected moments in our life.
