Plot TwistSample

What's something you would love to have a second chance at? Second chances are a gift because they give us another opportunity to do the right thing, especially if we messed something up the first time. Taking a moment to look back at the harm we may have caused can be incredibly cringe-worthy. No one enjoys remembering their mistakes. But we can find joy in knowing there's a way forward.
When Jesus died on the cross, the opportunity for second chances was shared with the world. Instead of living a life separated from God and caught up in mistakes and sin, Jesus' death and resurrection made it possible to have second chances and turn our lives around. In today's passage from Romans, this incredible gift is explained. Because of Jesus, we can ask for a second chance to make things right. Even if we don't make the right choice the first time around, God gives us opportunities to make it right again.
What second chance will you act on today?

About this Plan

Whether it’s your favorite movie, book, or reality show, you know there's nothing like a good plot twist! A plot twist can make us rethink everything we thought we knew about the story. In this 30-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, designed for Lent we’ll focus on how Jesus experienced “life-plot twists” and how he is with us when we go through unexpected moments in our life.
