The Shield of favor I started my first job, at an investment banking firm, around four months ago. My team is supportive and exciting. However, a project that a colleague and I were working on got delayed as he was not able to do his portion of the project. I had to work on this alone, whilst also getting trained on other processes. Naturally, my boss wanted to know why work was pending. At the beginning of your career, the last thing you want is your managers writing you off as incompetent. My natural instinct was to defend myself, and explain why it wasn’t my fault. However, I decided to trust my God to fight for me. Later, my boss checked our work status for the past few weeks and realized that all the work was being done by me. My first quarter reviews came in a week later, and I was told that I already had the potential to compete with people with more experience. I am now being trained in processes that otherwise require a much higher level and skill than mine, and have also been asked to train people far senior to me! Believe me, I am no extraordinary brain. In fact, I am nothing without God. If He can do this for me, He can do it for you. The Lord does not withhold any good thing from those who walk upright. He will open doors for you that no man can shut. When He says that His favor surrounds us as a shield, believe it! Confess and declare it. Trust God according to His Word. From personal experience, I can assure you that you will see things happen. You will see your superiors realize the immense power of the supernatural that you carry within you. Aren’t you excited? Declaration I am the righteousness of God. His favor surrounds me like a shield. I walk in the supernatural and choose to avail of all the blessings God has in store for me, as His beloved.
