Let His Word Take Root and Grow We all want our loved ones to be saved. As good Christians, we constantly try to help them experience Jesus in a way that will minister to them and help them understand His love towards them. Jesus came to share the love of the Father, through which people would know the fullness of life they can enjoy in our Lord Jesus Christ. The parable of the sower speaks about the seed, which is symbolic of the Word of God that is sown in the soil (symbolic of people’s lives). Based on how receptive the soil is, the seed will take root and flourish. Our duty is to be good sowers. As Christians, we tell people about our Lord and Savior, mainly to see their lives saved and enjoying eternity with us. But have you realized that the Christian life, apart from salvation, is also about living life in abundance and to the fullest? This is only possible when God has full access to all the areas of our life, be it work, finances or relationships. Jesus is not only our Lord and Savior, but our Bridegroom as well. So, we need to hide nothing from Him but hand over the reins of our life to Him. Intimacy demands that we become vulnerable and open to Him, to allow His Word to penetrate our being and bring life into every situation. This will be one of the best decisions you can ever make. Prayer Lord Jesus, I surrender every area of my life to You. Let Your Word take root and help me bear fruit for Your name’s sake. Amen.
