A Little While

The Scripture never says that if you have faith, you’ll never have any suffering, never have things that aren’t fair or situations that aren’t turning around. But it says the suffering is for “a little while,” not the next twenty years. Don’t believe those lies that what you’re going through is permanent—the addiction, the sickness, the trouble at work. That suffering didn’t come to stay; it came to pass. What God started in your life, He’s going to finish.

You have been chosen and called by the Creator of the universe to overcome every obstacle. The forces that try to stop you are no match for the God of all grace. As you go through the suffering with faith, know that greater is coming. God Himself is going to restore you. The Most High God is going to suddenly turn things around. He’s going to suddenly heal, suddenly deliver, suddenly promote. When it’s your time, you’re not going to come out the same, you’re going to come out better.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that the difficulties I go through are but for a little while, and You have purposed to use them for my eternal good. Thank You that You are the God of all grace, and that You will restore, strengthen, and finish Your work in me. I believe that greater is coming. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
