Psalms Streak: A Daily Devotional in the PsalmsSample

Extreme
This is a Psalm of extremes! If we were writing the melody to this poem, it would be like putting two songs together! An upbeat happy summer song that suddenly pivots and morphs to a moody ballad! The first half cannot be more worshipful or laden with more descriptive praise! It would be impossible to cram more thankfulness into a song! It is amazing. However, the Psalm ends with a warning so strong that it is later picked up and repeated in the Bible!
GO DEEP: Vs 1-2: We are told to get so involved in thanksgiving that we sing and shout! Take a minute to write down what you are thankful for.
Vs 3-7: Why are we told to worship?
Vs 7-8: What warning are we given? Spend a minute with God asking Him to highlight areas in your life where you might be missing His voice or where your heart has become hard.
BE BOLD: Who needs to hear this? Who could you share it with?
