Psalms Streak: A Daily Devotional in the PsalmsSample

Consider the Heavens
When was the last time you felt a sense of awe? Think about the most beautiful place you’ve ever been. How did you feel? The world is filled with incredible nature and beauty, but we don’t always take the time to appreciate it. Look out of your window and consider the heavens: the sky, the sun, the moon, and the stars. They are so big, so powerful.
In comparison, think about how small and insignificant mankind really is. Yet, the same God that set the moon and the stars in place created you. He has crowned you with glory and honour. We don’t often use the word "majestic" these days, but it means having or showing impressive beauty or scale. Consider the nature that is around you right now and the miracle of life. How majestic is the name of the Lord in all the earth!
GO DEEP: Look out of your window or take a walk outside. Write down all of the things you notice and praise God for His creation.
BE BOLD: Who needs to hear this? Who could you share it with?
