A Simple Rule: 40-Day Prayer JourneySample

Give thanks in all circumstances
God, I acknowledge before You all the areas in which I am more aware of lack than of sufficiency. Help me to see and value Your provision.
One barrier to giving thanks is a scarcity mentality rooted in fear of lack – be that lack of sleep, lack of time, or lack of resources. Addressing scarcity doesn’t mean demanding abundance, but trusting that God knows our needs and provides for those He loves. We can ask for His perspective to help us develop a mindset of sufficiency. Because in Him, we ‘lack no good thing.’
