Never Give Up (High School)Sample

My favorite part of each day is the sunset. Each day God is faithful to remind us to rest as the hues of pink and blue usher in a beautiful night. Each day I watch turn into night, I can't even believe that it's real. The sunset reminds me again and again just how powerful our God is. God is not just loving, merciful, fair, and kind, but God is POWERFUL. God is mighty. God is strong.

Ephesians is written by Paul, a joyful proclaimer of Jesus’ freedom through His death and resurrection. What stuck out the most to me was the phrase “who is able.” Not we who are able, but God who is able; our God who is able, to do mighty and wonderful things through us with our faith. When we place all of our life in God’s hands, God is ABLE to keep the promises made to us. What's even more powerful is that in this verse it also tells us that through that power, God will be able to “accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

You might not understand all the time, but you can be confident that God is working all things for His glory, and it will be glorious!
