The Road Less Traveled - a Lent Journey for TeensSample

Revisional Prayer
Wow, during this week we took a good look at humility and pride from the parable in Luke 18:9-14. Living humbly is something each and every one of us can grow in.
Jesus invites each one of us to choose the way of humility, humbly. It’s a growth process that will most probably be part of your entire life journey. By looking at Jesus’ interaction with people we can see the fruit of living a humble life. You grow in love for people around you and your love for Jesus.
Jesus is your greatest supporter, the one that cheers you on to choose life every day. This life, the road less traveled, helps you to turn to God and trust Him rather than live a life that centers around yourself and compares to others and leaves you feeling not good enough. In humility, you realize your worth as Jesus walks with you.
Reflect by answering the following questions:
- What did you learn from Jesus about living humbly?
- What is one thing that sticks with you after this week?
- What do you feel invited to?

About this Plan

Lent is where we walk with Jesus for 40 days. We are going to look at the Beatitudes of Jesus. These are sayings from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. We live in a world filled with uncertainty, fear and anxiety. The beatitudes invite us to live in a new way in this world of ours. Together, we are going to explore new ways to live life.
