DAY 4 OF 7

If there was one person who learned the hard way to look at God’s point of view, it was Job. Job had a great life- he had kids, land, money, and success. But one day, Job’s whole life fell apart. Everyone in his family died, his properties burned down, and his animals were killed. He lost all of his money and power. He was alone. His life didn’t make sense. But Job still realized something: God was still good. Job was still upset about his whole life being turned upside down, but he realized that God was greater than all of the possessions he had. His relationship with God mattered more to him than his stuff, even though that was hard to understand. Job sat down in the middle of his mess and praised God. He acknowledged that God was with him and worthy of praise. His point of view is better than ours, and no matter what, he is still good.

Challenge: Write a song of praise to God, no matter what your circumstances look like right now. Thank him for always being good.
