Maybe you've told your brother or sister to do something and they didn't listen, so you say, "Dad said so". You're using the power of your dad's name.

What do we say at the end of a prayer? We say, "In Jesus' name, Amen". The name of Jesus has power and authority, far above any king, queen, or any earthly power.

Jesus died and rose again, having power over death.
