Be A Good Example
Titus 2:7
You should be an example for them in every way by the good things you do. When you teach, be honest and serious.
The world is subconsciously looking for reliable examples to follow. We sometimes follow the latest toy or fashion trend. There are some trendsetters, YouTubers, actors or actresses, and Instagram stars whom we might follow and copy.
Paul reminded everyone to set a good example in every way. This command is also for you and me. We’re not too young to set a good example for other people.
For example, at school, you might be the only Christian amongst your non-Christian friends. You can start setting an example by showing sincere care to your friends, being an honest student, or being a helpful friend to your classmate who is struggling with a certain subject.
We do not have to shout and announce that we’re Christians. The best way to set an example is to live a life fully submitted to Jesus. By doing so, your non-Christian friends will see Jesus in you and your life can be impactful to them.
Prayer
Dear God, empower me with Your Spirit so my behavior, attitudes, words, and thoughts are in line with Jesus’. Amen.
