Fact CheckSample

Have you ever faced a situation that didn’t seem fair? Maybe your sister never gets in trouble, but you always seem to. Or maybe you have to study hard to get a passing grade, but your friends get perfect grades without trying. We can sometimes even feel like God is being unfair. Today’s passage reminds us that God is perfect and that everything he does is fair. The problem is we can’t always see at the moment how God will make it fair and just. This is where the trust needs to come in. We need to be open to trusting God and remembering that we serve a fair and loving God.
Challenge: What is something that you are facing that seems unfair today? Take a moment and talk to God. Tell him that you trust him with this situation and believe he is a fair and just God.

About this Plan

If someone asked you to describe God, what would you say? This can be a difficult question because there are tons of ideas about who God is and what he is like. Over the next week, we will fact-check what we think about God by exploring how the Bible describes him.
