All For His GlorySample

The story of the Israelites in the wilderness continues. Today we read about the ‘Tent of Meeting’ that Moses set up. When Moses went into this tent, it says that he spoke to God as one speaks to a friend. We also see Joshua, who will later go on to lead Israel, staying behind in the tent to form his own relationship with God.
What this chapter shows is that Moses and Joshua had a strong desire for God’s presence and glory.
As we use S.O.A.P. again today to reflect on this passage, let’s pray and ask God to inspire the same desire for his presence as we see in Moses and Joshua.

About this Plan

What does it mean to live 'All For His Glory'? This plan looks at how God's glory is revealed in the Bible and how people responded to it. The first week focuses on defining God's glory, the second week on what it means to be a carrier of God's glory through the Holy Spirit, and the third week looks at what it means to live a life of worship.
