Conclusion – Praying Effectively

Learning how to pray effectively is more important today than ever before because of the dark times we are living in. Therefore, to produce results in the place of prayer we must:

1. Know God’s Word as revealed in the Bible; 
2. Know that prayer is primarily about abiding in Christ and not just making requests;
3. Learn to stand on the authority we have in the name of Jesus and speak to mountains, instead of praying about them;
4. Learn when to make petitions as intercessions, instead of making decrees;
5. Remember that prayer is not about the multiplicity of words but words borne from the place of sincerity, based on the knowledge of God’s Word, as inspired by the Holy Spirit; and
6. Know that true prayer begins with a surrendered heart to the Holy Spirit.
