Praying Without the Knowledge of God’s Word
God only answers the prayer of faith. The Bible teaches that without faith we cannot please God, and the prayer of faith will heal the sick. However, faith only comes by the hearing of God’s Word. An error I have seen many Christians make is praying about a matter without having a clear understanding of what God has already said and the provisions He has made as revealed in scripture. The knowledge of His Word will give us insight into His will and plan for us. If we, therefore, pray according to His will, He hears us. Think about what happens if we don’t.
