Be Still in God’s Presence

Watch the video for today, and then follow up with these questions to discuss or journal.

1. If you want to hear what God wants to say to you, you’re going to have to find a moment to be quiet in His presence. When you invite God into your heart you carry Him wherever you go. What do you think it means to ‘Be still in the presence of the Lord?” How can we do that?

2. God often speaks to you through your thoughts, you ‘catch’ him saying something to you, when you fix your mind on Him. Why don’t you practice being quiet in His presence right now? Put a timer on for three minutes and quietly think about God. You don’t need to think lots of thoughts at this time – you just need to imagine that God is with you where you are, because He is! 

Pray: Talk to God, thank Him, praise Him, call on His name. Give Him your worries and then.... wait. Be quiet in His presence.
