God’s Word cuts through the deepest parts of our being. As believers, only God’s Word can help us discern if our flesh or spirit is leading us. If we want to know whether we are doing things for God based on our feeling or by His Spirit leading our spirit, we must get in the Word. When God's Word cuts through our soul and spirit, things that are naturally illogical become logical by the supernatural force of the Word.

We know that our joints connect different bones to give us form and hold us together. I see God’s Word as a powerful force that cuts through those false things that seem to make us feel grounded or supported. God’s Word cuts through those errant foundational beliefs that have shaped us and held us captive.

We also know that the marrow produces blood cells that give life to the body by fighting infections, healing wounds heal quickly and carrying oxygen to the body. Nothing is hidden from God’s Word. There is no part of our being that cannot be touched by God’s Word. The Word heals and gives life to our spirit, soul, and body.

Perhaps a history of child abuse has shaped your perception of life and relationships; God’s Word has the power to pierce through your tragic foundation and bring healing as you believe God’s Word and accept the truth God has spoken concerning you. Isaiah 53:5 (KJV) says, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Do you believe this truth? I urge you to believe the truth that the stripes of Jesus healed your emotional wounds, and God wants you to accept healing by faith. Receive grace to believe and receive your healing in the name of Jesus!

Whatever condition we find our spirit, soul, and body, the Word of God is sharp enough to penetrate our being, heal, and deliver us (Psalm 107:20).
