The Church is built on the fulfilled promise that God would redeem His people through an unblemished sacrifice. The story of Scripture crescendos in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Savior of the world. This is the privilege of living in AD rather than BC. It is the best news. And it is for the whole world!

-Why is it good to remember and to remind yourself of the good news of Jesus Christ?
-What does it mean that the prophets of the Old Testament were not serving themselves, but the church?

About this Plan
In many areas of today’s world it is not easy being a Christian. We need to ask, is it worth being identified as a follower of Christ? If so, how should we live in a world that rejects us? The early church was asking these questions, too. They were the target of jokes, rumors, discrimination and persecution. God answered and encouraged them through 1 Peter, as He will for us!
