An Analog Life in a Digital World

DAY 14 OF 28

Paul reminds Christians of the amazing truth of the gospel, and in doing so he encourages all believers to ives out their lives and their work as a response. Your very life, the work you do, even the content you share via social media can and should be done as worship to Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior.

Sometimes, though, when we stack up the "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts" we feel overwhelmed, tempted to feel ashamed or tempted to think we're doing "good enough." Remember, it isn't about doing enough at all. It is about receiving the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. How can you invite Him into your life today? How can your screen time become an act of worship today?

Take a Next Step: Have you been involved in any arguments or quarrels on social media lately? Take time today to apologize, to extend words of kindness, to find peace rather than division.

Use this scripture to lead you into a prayer of thanksgiving and praise:

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. -Titus 3:4-7
