Overcomer: Defeating Anxiety and AbuseSample

Take some time to write down what God's strength might mean for you in this season. Can you identify things in your life that He is wanting you to hand over to Him so that He can replace that fear/worry/cycle/anxiety/mindset with His strength?
Pray this prayer:
God, thank you for being my stronghold. Right here in this season of hurt, confusion and pain, you are here. And even when my flesh feels weak and I feel alone, will you help me trust that you’re with me? Will you remind me that just as you were with David while writing the book of Psalms, reminding us all that you’re our stronghold, you are here now with me as well. God, open my heart to trust you, to allow you into the deep places of grief and sorrow and shame that I can carry because of what has happened to me.
In Jesus’ name,
amen.

About this Plan

The team at Broken Crayons Still Color has joined forces with their friend, Hope Moquin, to wade through the realities of anxiety and abuse. Follow the voices of four women who have known brokenness—yet, have claimed victory in Jesus overcoming all things. There is no darkness He can't touch, and there is no pain we can't come back from. We cannot and will not be defeated. We are overcomers.
