Jesus’ authority extends everywhere. Jesus’ name can transform every situation. Jesus has authority and He has given us authority. We must remember, however, that Jesus’ authority doesn’t look like that of the world – to lord it over others and to be served. Jesus didn’t come to be served, but He came to serve and to give His life as a ransom to many. Therefore, the authority we are given needs to be exercised in the same manner. Let us have a revelation of Jesus' authority as we live lives to serve, to love, to be peacemakers, to be restorers, and to be gospel proclaimers.
